At Saltworks, every child’s individual experience is important to us. Our classes are small, averaging 10 students to one teacher and one assistant. Actors of all levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to grow and learn at their own pace. Our teachers are theater professionals with a heart for education and a commitment to encourage each student to achieve their theatrical goals. The friendly, exciting community that is created here often brings families back year after year. In fact, many of our teachers and assistants are Saltworks alum who have chosen theater education as a career.

Saltworks Young Actors Studio is a place to learn about acting among supportive friends. We emphasize building basic acting skills as well as developing personal character and the important skill of working in an ensemble. Our philosophy is “process over product” which means that we value the individual journey and the success of each student to achieve new goals more than the final production.
