IMPROV WORKSHOP - Ages 9-16
10 am to 3 pm
Saturday Feb. 11
Christ Church at Grove Farm, Sewickley       
Cost: $65
     Improv King Dale Harris will challenge students to discover and improve their improvisation skills in this 5 hour intensive workshop. Parents and friends are invited to attend the performance at the end of the day. Number of students is limited so please register early.

PLAY IN A DAY FESTIVAL - Ages 9-16   Workshop Ended
6 pm to 9 pm Friday AND 9 am to 4 pm Saturday
January 20-21 at Church of the Ascension, Oakland/Shadyside OR
January 27-28 at Christ Church at Grove Farm, Sewickley
Cost: $80
    Picture it: an opportunity to create a storyline, develop characters, and perform the whole thing for friends and family. Students will be challenged to create and perform a play based on a random prop given to them on Friday night. Groups of 4-5 students will work as a team to write the script, create props and costumes, and perform the play for parents on Saturday. Sound like fun? Then the Play in a Day Festival is for you! We will provide experienced teachers, a focused creative environment, and a unique performance opportunity. You provide a whole lot of imagination and a "woo-hoo attitude"! Open to everyone between the ages of 9 and 16, you'll be put in a group with kids your own age. It's a brand new experience every time!

YOUNG COMPANY SHOW: Honk, Jr. - Ages 9-16  - Registration closed
You must have participated in a Saltworks class IN THE PAST YEAR to be eligible for the Young Company Show. If you are not sure of your eligibility, please contact us. After confirmation of your registration, you will be contacted to set up an audition time.
Church of the Ascension, Oakland/Shadyside
Performances Friday, March 2, 2012 at 7 pm and Sat. March 3, 2012 at 2 and 7 pm  
Cost:  $175
Rehearsals begin Jan. 16, 2012, and will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 6-9 pm AND Saturdays from 1-4 pm
Auditions will be Tuesday, Dec. 6 beginning at 6 pm. You must register online before an audition will be scheduled. As usual, the first 20 students to register are guaranteed a place in the cast. Auditions determine the role you are cast in. Students are permitted to miss two rehearsals only. If you miss more than two rehearsals, you may be dismissed from the cast.
